“Local production for local consumption” SDGs initiatives
We use locally grown, safe and secure agricultural products, including home-grown rice and home-grown vegetables grown using the delicious water of Nozawa Onsen.
By using local, seasonal vegetables, we reduce energy consumption for greenhouses and transportation, and by using fewer pesticides and appropriate fertilizers, we strive to minimize the negative impact on the soil and ecosystem.
We also strive to reduce food waste by providing delicious and adequate meals.
